Emma Jacobs is an independent multimedia producer and reporter based in Paris, France.

I produce podcasts with ESPN's FiveThirtyEight and report domestically and internationally for American radio broadcasters including NPR, PRI's The World and Marketplace. I have worked in the newsrooms of WNYC and WHYY,  and spent the winter of 2015 reporting for NPR from the French island of La RĂ©union as the network's Above the Fray fellow. Twice, I got to collaborate on the innovative audio experiment Longshot Radio.

My writing has appeared in publications including The Washington Post, The Philadelphia Inquirer and Tablet Magazine. My work has received support from The Nation Institute and the Fund for Investigative Journalism.
