Emma Jacobs is an independent, multimedia journalist who has reported internationally for print and radio outlets.

I have worked in the public radio newsrooms of WNYC and WHYY and traveled to the French island of La RĂ©union as NPR's Above the Fray fellow in 2015. These days, I contribute regularly to radio broadcasters including NPR, PRI's The World, Marketplace, CBC and Deutsche Welle. I also produce and report for podcasts including ESPN's FiveThirtyEight and 30 for 30, Life of the Law and The World in Words.

My writing has appeared in publications including The Washington Post, The Philadelphia Inquirer and CityLab. My work has received support from The Nation Institute and the Fund for Investigative Journalism.
