I am a multimedia journalist currently based in Montreal.

I have reported internationally on topics ranging from the European refugee crisis to shark attacks for radio broadcasters including NPR, PRI's The World, and Marketplace. My writing has appeared in The Washington Post and The New York Times.

Previously, I worked in the newsrooms of NPR member-stations WNYC and WHYY and traveled to the French island of La Réunion as NPR's Above the Fray fellow in 2015. I have also produced and reported for podcasts including ESPN's 30for30, Life of the Law, and Audible’s Pitch.

Some of my reporting interests include international migration, urban landscapes, history and language.

My first book, The Little(r) Museums of Paris was published in June 2019 by Running Press.
